Speaking – Erskine Breakfast – 29th August 2013

November 15th, 2012

Im ridiculously excited to share with you that I will be speaking at the first Erskine Breakfast in Nottingham on August 29th 2013. This will be my first public speaking opportunity – aside from being regular Second Wednesday compere.

The talk topic will follow on from my recent article in .Net where I discussed the idea of designing modularly. Unlike my article, I hope to be able to discuss and demonstrate examples of how we can modularise the way we approach design for the web. The subject of the article arose having read an article written by Robin Rendle, who discussed ways in which we should modularise our front-end code. So it couldnt be more fitting for me to speak alongside him, with robin discussing modular development while I discuss modular design.

The event will be from 8:30 – 9:30 am on Thursday 29th August 2013, breakfast will be laid out – I here theres pastries, and possibly even bacon. If you would like to know more information of confirm your attendance, you can do some from the Erskine Breakfast mini-site.
